The English Linguistic Society of Japan (ELSJ) solicits, for each annual conference, a small number of proposals for workshops to serve as fora for presentations and discussion on particular topics; workshops are to be planned and administered by ELSJ members. This year, we plan to devote approximately two hours (from 9:30 to 11:45 am) on the morning of the first day of the conference to workshops.
The ELSJ offers 20,000 yen as a subsidy for an accepted workshop, and 30,000 yen as a subsidy for an accepted student workshop. Proposals will be screened by the Conference Organizing Committee. Members will be notified in June of the Committee’s decision on workshop proposals and on whether or not additional presentations will be solicited.
