The ELSJ Awards
The ELSJ has established the ELSJ Prize, the ELSJ Senior Researcher Award, and the ELSJ Junior Researcher Award in order to publicly honor outstanding academic achievements by ELSJ members.

The EL Research Promotion Award
The EL Research Promotion Award is given by the editorial board to outstanding Articles that have been published in the previous academic year’s volume of English Linguistics. Recipients of the EL Research Promotion Award can apply for the ELSJ Junior or Senior Researcher Award.
The EL Research Paper Award
The EL Research Paper Award (previous to the academic year 2014, the EL Research Promotion Award) is given by the editorial board to outstanding Articles that have been published in the previous academic year’s volume of English Linguistics. Recipients of the EL Research Promotion Award can apply for the ELSJ Junior or Senior Researcher Award.
The Best Paper Award
The Best Paper Award honors excellent presentations made by ELSJ members at the annual Conference and the International Spring Forum, with the aim of fostering young researchers and encouraging research activities in the various subfields of linguistics.
