Applicants for the ELSJ Prize are required to submit an application form (downloadable from the ELSJ website), which must contain a statement in support of the application (approximately 1,200 Japanese characters or 800 English words) by one person (who may be the applicant) as well as a synopsis of the book submitted. Please send the ELSJ Prize Application Form as e-mail attachments in both pdf and doc/docx format to the address <award-b-obo☆kaitakusha.co.jp>*.

     Applicants are also required to send 6 copies of the submitted book (photocopies allowed) and one unbound copy of the entire book to the following address. Please write on the envelope “Application for the ELSJ Prize” in RED.
